Mary jane Jackman

McMinnville, OR: Known as "Jackie" to her many friends and co-workers on both the East and West coasts, Mary Jane Jackman lost her brief but valiant battle with cancer on September 24, 2014 at the Oakwood Country Place in McMinnville, Oregon.

Born June 8, 1948 in Haverhill, MA to the late Richard and Martha Belle Jackman, Mary Jane graduated from the Pollard School in Plaistow, NH and Sanborn Seminary with the Class of 1966.

Mary Jane discovered that even though the "ground did shake" in the Bay area of San Francisco, it never snowed! After living many years in California, Mary move to Newberg, Oregon.

Mary Jane will be missed by her brother, Richard Jackman and his wife Nancy of Plaistow, NH, nieces, Linda Auclair and her husband Timothy of Raymond, NH, and Martha Fowler and her husband Charles of Plaistow, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

One of Mary's best friends, Rhonda Britt, could be considered the definition of a "true friend" until the end, even of life. Mary Jane's family will be ever grateful to her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's Graveside Service to be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Plaistow Cemetery.
