Mary Head

Born on January 06, 1940 in Little Heart's Ease, Newfoundland, Mary passed away peacefully on April 04, 2023. She made her home in Ontario, California. Mary was the daughter of George and Gertrude Norris, sister to Ena (Lloyd Walker), Herman Norris (Norma), Vida (Frank Linhart), Jessie (Edward Tarry), Zelma (Don Rixmann), Elsie (Jim Wright), and Emily (Tim Young). Loving mother of three amazing children, David (deceased), Michelle, and Debbie. Devoted grandmother of Sheryl (Peter Finch), Kersten (Travis Dean), Kaitlyn (Jesse Valerio), and Ryan; three precious great-grandsons Bradley, Jaxson, and Bryce.

After marrying and leaving Canada in the early 1960's, Mary went on to raise her family and begin a long career in retail services on Military Bases. Although the family had to move frequently due to military relocation, she always adapted quickly and made friends wherever she went. Mary's strength came from loving her family unconditionally and showing that love every day.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5th, from 12-1p.m., at Forest Lawn, Memory Chapel, in Covina Hills, California. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow at Chase's La Verne.
