Mary "Sue" Elliott, 72, of La Quinta, California passed away April 8, 2016 in La Quinta. She was born December 16, 1943, to Cecil Edwards and Dovie Couch in National City, California. She is survived by daughters Tena Swisher of La Quinta and Gwen Elliott-Tuthill of Corona, Califronia. Son in laws John Swisher and Frank Tuthill as well as many cousines, nieces, nephews and friends whom she adored.

Sue brought sunshine, happiness, love and hope to all she encountered. Family was the most important part of her life. Sue will be most remembered by her contagious smile her generosity and ability to make everything alright no matter the circumstances.
