Mary Eleanor Dunn

Mary Eleanor Dunn passed away November 23rd 2018 in Rancho Mirage Ca. She was 94.
Mary was born in Los Angeles on October 8th 1924. She grew up there, married her loving husband, and together they raised a family of four boys. After the boys were grown, she spent sixteen years as a claims adjuster for the Auto Club. With retirement she moved to Palm Desert.
Mary was an avid reader, especially of mysteries and thrillers, and she loved to dance. Golf became a frequent activity with her move to the desert.
She was preceded in death by Virgil, her husband of fifty years, and by Stan Warrington her good friend and companion. She is survived by her four sons, Gregory, Jeffrey, Kenneth, and Patrick; two daughters-in-law, Maggie and Stephanie; three granddaughters, Catherine, Libby, and Hannah; and three great grandchildren, Freyja, Ronan, and Liam. She is also survived by her loving caregiver, Mary Helen Trevino, and all the wonderful staff at Rancho Mirage Health and Rehabilitation center, where she spent her final years.
