Mary Christena Cox

Mary Christena Cox passed away peacefully on August 20, 2018. She was 83 years young. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grammy, Sister and Friend. We will miss her dearly and she will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary was born on June 22, 1935 in Letterkenny, Co.Donegal, Ireland. Her parents Mary and Thomas Keys had 10 children Kathleen, Bebe, Eddie, Anne, Elish, Monica, Thomas, Teresa and Johnny. She immigrated to the US. She married the love of her life Seamus Cox on August 31, 1957. They raised their 5 children in Burbank, California. They then retired to a coastal community, where they built their home at the beach as they always dreamed they would. They made many happy memories with family and friends at their beloved beach house.

She was proud of her Irish heritage and a devote Catholic. She was a true light in her community with her infectious smile and laugh. She was loving, generous, kind and helpful to everyone who was lucky enough to meet her.

We will celebrate her life with family and friends in a Rosary prayer service on Friday at 7:30 pm, August 24, 2018.
