Mary Isabelle Baker

Mary Isabelle Baker, born Lynch, on September 4, 1921, in Indiana, passed away peacefully in North Hollywood, California, on August 23 2024. She was a beloved matriarch who embodied grace, kindness, and strength throughout her long and fulfilled life.

Mary's legacy is cherished by her devoted family, including her children Lynne Miller and her husband Bill, Elizabeth Lopez and her husband Gus, Dean Baker and his wife Marcie, and Amy Pendry and her husband Ken. She took great pride in her role as a grandmother to seven grandchildren: Carolyn McCormick (Michael) Stephen Miller (Irene), Gus Lopez (Nicole) , Elizabeth Lopez Augst (Jason), Kevin Pendry, Ashley Pendry, and Nicole Pendry. Mary also rejoiced in the love of her eight great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J Baker “Bill”, her 10 brothers and many other family members. 

To honor Mary's memory, visitation services will be held on September 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills, located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place on September 6, 2024, at 12:30 PM at the Church of the Hills, within the same location, concluding at 1:30 PM.

Mary Isabelle Baker will be remembered not only for her unconditional love for her family but also for the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
