Marsha Marie Mann

Marsha Marie Mann, beloved wife of Douglas, loving daughter of the late Marshall and Dorothy, sister in law of Chip and Eileen (Mann)Jacobs of Naples, Florida; aunt of Dr. Brian Jacobs (Brooke)and Michael(Stacie), great aunt to Taylor Jacobs, Eli Jacobs, Dylan Jacobs, Evan Jacobs, and Maddy Jacobs, cousin and friend; passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 75. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Marsha was born on March 2, 1948, and grew up in Thousand Oaks, California. She was a proud graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and Cal Lutheran University.

She was a teacher for over 30 years at White Oak Elementary School in Simi Valley, CA (part of the Simi Valley Unified School District).

Marsha's dedication to education was evident throughout her life as she pursued knowledge and sought to expand her horizons.

Throughout her life, Marsha had a kind and warm personality that touched the lives of everyone around her. She had a spirit to volunteer and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Marsha truly embodied compassion and selflessness.
 

Additionally, she found solace in watching television shows, particularly those on the Hallmark Movie Channel, Father Brown, Blue Bloods, all three of the Chicago shows(Med, Fire, And PD), and the BBC Network. These programs allowed her to relax and indulge in stories that touched her heart.

Reading was a constant joy for her, in particular the Bible, many faith based books, mysteries and any books on Queen Elizabeth.

A graveside service for Marsha will be held on August 26, 2023, at Forest Lawn - Glendale located at 1712 S Glendale Ave in Glendale, CA. The service will begin at 9:00 AM and all are welcome to attend the ceremony to pay their respects.

Marsha's family and friends will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her presence will continue to serve as an inspiration for kindness and generosity within our community.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Marsha's name to a local literacy program or volunteer organization close to your heart. This will honor her passion for education and helping others.

As we bid farewell to Marsha Marie Mann today, let us remember her as someone who brought light into the lives of others. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing to us all.
