Mark Davenport, 96, of Northridge, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2024. He passed away peacefully at Pacifica Senior Living Northridge. Mark was born April 26, 1927, in Lawrence, Kansas to Roy Davenport and Hazel (Bailey) Davenport. He had been a Northridge resident for 67 years.
In addition to being a Master Watchmaker and owning two Jewelry stores Mark also enjoyed a 2nd successful career at Rocketdyne / Boeing.
Music was one of many passions. He played multiple instruments. He was a church choir director and enjoyed playing and singing in many churches.
These are a few of his favorite things… playing piano, reading, singing, learning, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Bessie Maxine Davenport in 2019.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Carolyn (Chuck) Burgess; sons, Steven (Lisa) and Michael (Karen) Davenport; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
