Mark was a natural storyteller and a source of light in any room.

Mark Israel Anthony Ancheta, lovingly known as “Red Warrior,” was born on January 1, 1982, in Urdaneta Pangasinan. He lived a life rich in kindness, adventure, and love a life that touched everyone lucky enough to cross his path. On July 7, 2026, Mark suffered a ruptured brain bleed, after twenty courageous days spent surrounded by the people he cherished most, he passed away peacefully at Rancho Mirage, Eisenhower Hospital on July 27, 2026. His final moments were filled with the warmth of his loving family and closest friends, a fitting farewell for a man who lived his life embraced by love.

Mark’s life was marked not just by years, but by the extraordinary character and generosity he shared with those around him. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Brooke Ancheta, and their cherished children, Aiden and Aubree, who were the light of his world and the greatest source of his pride. He is also survived by his father, Mario, his brothers, Mario (Ricky), Marvin, Marcelino, Michael, and Marlin each of whom shared in the laughter, adventures, and craftsmanship that defined Mark’s days. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Ancheta, whose love and influence remained a guiding force in his life.

From an early age, Mark embodied a spirit of curiosity and creativity. He had an undeniable passion for Teppanyaki, Filipino food, the great outdoors hunting and fishing gave him not only adventure but also deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. He found freedom on his motorcycle, savoring the thrill and serenity that came with every open road. As a craftsman, Mark’s inspired hands built bows, arrows, and countless unique creations, each reflecting his attentiveness and imagination. Mark also had an artist’s eye and heart, capturing family moments and cherished experiences through photography and videography a gift that now becomes a legacy of memories for all who miss him.

Mark was a natural storyteller and a source of light in any room. His laughter, sense of humor, and welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home. He was known for turning the simplest gatherings into lasting memories, filling every gathering with joy and connection. It was the little things his warmth, his generosity, his way of making people feel seen and valued that will linger most.

To Mark, the proudest parts of his journey were found not just in what he accomplished, but in the love he gave and the relationships he nurtured. He was proud to be a devoted husband, a loving father, a supportive son and brother, a talented chef, and a treasured friend. The legacy he leaves is woven from the laughter, love, and memories he shared each indelible mark a testament to a life well and beautifully lived.

Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate Mark’s life are invited to join his family for a visitation on August 23, 2026, at Forest Lawn  Cathedral City - Ramon Chapel, located at 69855 Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234, beginning at 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on August 24, 2026, at the same location from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Mark’s spirit, his stories, and his love will continue to inspire and uplift everyone who remembers him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
