Marjorie Cayton Perdigon

Marjorie Cayton Perdigon, 31, born on November 8, 1981 in Manila, Philippines, passed away May 10, 2013. She resided in Valley Village, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.

Marjorie grew up in Manila, Philippines. She graduated College from University of Sto. Tomas where she received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She received her Master's Degree in Education from Dela Salle University, Manila. After College she began working as an Elementary School teacher in Manila for 3 years.

She migrated to the States in 2007 and began working as a Pre School Teacher in Los Angeles until 2012. She studied Child Development at Glendale Community College. She enjoyed her time in Los Angeles and made many lifelong friends.

Marjorie was a member of Single's For Christ in Los Angeles and was very involved with Church activities. She was raised as a God fearing person and was independent at a young age. She enjoyed kayaking, singing, dancing, watching basketball, and spending time with her family. For several years, Marje would visit New York for Christmas and spend summer vacations at the lake with her family.


Marjorie loved children and being a teacher was her passion and delight. She has been a teacher for nine years and found joy in teaching kids and shaping young minds.

Marjorie is survived by her parents, brother, and sister.


Visitation and viewing will be on May 14, 2013 and will be held at Forest Lawn Mortuary, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive Los Angeles, CA 90068 at 5-9pm

Funeral service will follow the next day May 15, 2013 at 2 - 3pm
