Mario was born to parents Jose Carmen and Antonia Valencia on August 15, 1951 in Jalisco, Mexico.
Mario is survived by his son, Mario Jr Valencia of Palm Desert, Ca; his sisters, Maria Arroyo of Indio, Ca; Rosa Gonzalez of Corona, Ca; Sandra Hansen of Ridgecrest, Ca; his brothers, Francisco Valencia Fredericktown, Mo; and Robert Valencia Hemet, Ca.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Carmen and Antonia Valencia; his brothers, Richard and Jose Carmelo Valencia.
Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Mortuary 51990 Jackson Street Coachella, CA 92236, on October 19, 2017 between the hours of 5 and 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 6 p.m.
The funeral mass will take place Friday October 20, 2017 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Mortuary, Coachella, California.
