Mario Flores Medrano

Mario Flores Medrano, 86, born on January 19, 1927, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico was a wonderful man, father and grandpa. He was hardworking, ethical, independent and athletic; he inspired those same values in his children. He married 1960 and came to the United States in 1965 in hopes for a better life for his family. He started working as a maintenance worker in a down town Los Angeles high rise building until he was introduced into the seafood business where he later became owner and operator of Flores Seafood Sales until he retired in 1993; however, he kept working part-time, taking care of his customers through 2003.
Mario Flores Medrano passed away May 20, 2013. He resided in Long Beach, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California. He is survived by his wife, Consuelo; his 5 children, Mario, Daniela, Olivia, Adrian, Rene; and his 5 grandchildren Yamileth, Adrian, Diego, Michael, Adriana, Daniel; and 1 great-granddaughter, Brianna.
