Marina Candelerie Bejarano

Marina Bejarano, 94, born in Butte, Montana on February 02, 1931, United States, passed away June 10, 2025 leaving behind her four children, Louie Bejarano, Tina Bejarano and husband Dan Montoya, Cassandra Smith and husband Marc Greenberg, & Michael Bejarano. Grandchildren Ian & Jacob Bejarano, Joshua and wife Naho Smith  & Alexis and husband Brandon Antin, Scott & Daniel Greenberg, wife Brittany Greenberg. Great grandchildren: Payton & Kallen Smith, Ali & Grayson Antin, Ashton & Sylis Greenberg.

Growing up under unfortunate circumstances, she was orphaned by the age of 4, and was therefore raised by extended family in Mexico and learned to become a seamstress and hat maker. She returned to the US at the age of 22 eventually becoming a strong independent woman, going to work, learning to read & write english, and learning to drive while raising 4 children with her husband Mike Bejarano. She was a hard working mother,  a tenacious and impatient woman and her most notable phrase was "I wait for no man" to do anything for her which served her well as she was widowed by age 54. Never taking no for an answer, she powered through any obsticle in her way teaching her children to do the same.

She resided in the same home in Commerce, CA for nearly 65 years,  Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
