Marilyn Anne Zullo, 67, born on July 18, 1952, in Barstow, CA, passed away from a fall that resulted in a brain injury on August 29, 2019. She resided in Indio, CA at the time of her passing.
Marilyn Anne Zullo, born Marilyn Anne Huffman is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Wade Huffman of Barstow, CA.
Marilyn is survived by her Husband Troy Zullo. married September 15, 1990. Her 7 daughters; Melinda Ascani, Allison Ascani, Andrea Zullo, Janie Zullo, Kilie Zullo, Troi Zullo and Jillian Zullo. Sister to Charlie Huffman, Steve Huffman, Ronald Huffman and Laurie Huffman. Grandmother to 17 grandchildren and Best Friend Marilyn Whittington for the past 38 years.
Marilyn was married to Troy, who she loved with all her heart and has shared her life with for the past 29 years and had two daughters with. She was a mother to seven beautiful daughters that she nurtured and loved with everything she had and did the same to her seventeen grandchild. She was the sister to three brothers and one sister that she held close to her heart along with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend Marilyn and talked to daily.
Marilyn worked for GTE for ten years before returning to College of the Desert to get her Associates Degree in nursing and graduated in 1994. She was a registered nurse at JFK Memorial hospital in Indio, CA for two years before going to work for Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center for the past 23 years where she made an impact on many lives, both with the patients and with her colleagues.
Marilyn was an extraordinary woman, full of love, encouragement, strength and generosity. She was the matriarch of the family and would do anything for you without asking for anything in return. She was a great friend to so many. She was smart, caring, funny and dedicated to her family. She loved to swim, shop, cook, dance and was very active in her children's lives. She will be greatly missed and loved by so many.

Services will be held at 11am on Saturday September 7th, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 40840 Washington St, Bermuda Dunes, CA 92203 with luncheon to follow directly after. Officiated by Bishop Dave Thomas. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, California.
