 Marilyn Pompa, age 90, of Hacienda Heights, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2026. She lived a full and wonderful life, enjoying beach bike rides, rafting, working for Mattel, and building a passionate Marilyn Pompa, aged 90, of Hacienda Heights, California, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her family.

Throughout her long and vibrant life, Marilyn embraced adventure and creative passions. In her younger years, she loved the outdoors, spending sunny afternoons bike riding along the beach and embarking on river rafting trips. Her joyful spirit and eye for fun led her to work for Mattel for several years—a career that sparked a lifelong passion for collecting dolls and Barbies, a beloved collection she cherished and curated over the years.

Above all, Marilyn devoted her heart to her family and friends. She lived a rich, wonderful life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories spanning five generations.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph "Pete" Pompa, and her cherished son, Robert.

She is survived by her loving children, son Raymond and daughter Linda; her multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life; as well as a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn – Covina Hills
