Marie T. (paquette) Blaisdell

Groveland, MA: Marie T. (Paquette) Blaisdell, 86, a resident of Groveland from 1956 until 2013, died on February 4, 2015 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late George A. and Lillian Z. (Denoncour) Paquette, she attended St. Joseph School and graduated from St. James High School with the class of 1946. Mrs. Blaisdell went on to graduate from Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.

Mrs. Blaisdell was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Hale Hospital, the Framingham Heart Program, Haverhill Visiting Nurses, Pentucket Regional Junior and Senior School, and for Dr. Clifton at Urology Associates of Bradford.

A member of St. Patrick's Parish in Groveland, Mrs. Blaisdell was a former member of the Massachusetts State Nurses Association and was a thirty years member of the Groveland Nurses Club. Mrs. Blaisdell most enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur L. Blaisdell, and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark D. and Nancy Blaisdell of East Kingston, NH, and three grandchildren, Amy Blaisdell of Watertown, MA, Tracey Rand of Fremont, NH, and Scott Bryan of Newton, NH. She was predeceased by her grandson, Daniel Blaisdell, and her brothers, Richard A. Paquette and Robert J. Paquette.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church, in South Groveland. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
