Mariann Conant

Mariann Hultine Conant, 84, born on May 06, 1940, in Harvard, NE, passed away September 01, 2024.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.  She was raised on a farm near Harvard NE. She cherished her childhood memories. She was very active at Harvard High School playing piano , cheerleading and many  activities. It was there she met Donald Conant her future husband. After high school she attended Kearney State College. There she majored in music and art. Mariann learned to oil paint and play Chopin and Tchaikovsky. She shared many great memories from that year.  In 1958 she moved to California. She enjoyed working in retail and playing piano for events. In 1959 she married Don Conant. They had two daughters Elizabeth and Suzanne . She was a wonderful wife and mother. Mariann was active in her church and very devoted to her family.  When grandchildren Christine and Matthew came along Mariann was great support. For the first three years she got up very early to take care of them while parents worked. Mariann was deeply loved and will be greatly missed . She is survived by husband Don Conant, daughters Elizabeth Ann Conant and Suzanne Oaxaca, two grandchildren Christie and Matt and one great grandchild Lux Aurora.  Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.  Services will be held 1000 am in Memory Chapel on Sept. 16, 2024.
