Marian Gaye "Mickie" Hyndshaw Fornadley was born on November 19th, 1949 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to William and Marian (Cole) Hyndshaw.

After graduating from Delaware Valley Regional High School, Marian Gaye worked at Phillipsburg National Bank and Trust. She met John Fornadley on her 1st airplane trip to California. Marian Gaye moved to Reseda, California in September 1972 to be with the love of her life and married August 4th, 1973 in New Jersey on her paternal grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. In February 1985, Marian Gaye and John welcomed their beautiful precious daughter, Jennifer Marie.

As the daughter of a square dance caller, Marian Gaye could square dance from the time she could walk. She enjoyed all of the family picnics and parties her parents hosted. She loved 1950s music, Elvis Presley, and traveling with her family. She went on several cruise trips as well as trips to Hawaii and various other states. One of her favorite trips was to New Jersey to visit her mother.

Marian Gaye worked for Union Bank for 34 years and retired in 2014. As a life-long member of the United Methodist Church, she was an active member of the United Methodist Women and various other church committees.

On April 1st, 2019, Marian Gaye passed away in her home in Northridge, CA after a short battle with cancer. Services included visitation at Forest Lawn Glendale, CA on April 7th, cremation April 8th, graveside service April 9th, and memorial service at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tarzana, CA on April 13th.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Wilbert and Myrtle Cole, paternal grandparents Edgar and Helen Hyndshaw, father William Hyndshaw, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those who will carry on her love and precious memories are husband John Fornadley, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer Fornadley and Jesus Haquet, mother Marian Hyndshaw, sister and brother-in-law Renee and David Dunne, sister-in-law Genevra Brines, one aunt, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.
