Maria Guadalupe Olachea

Maria Guadalupe Olachea, 62, born on December 12, 1950, in Tijuana, Mexico, passed away October 1, 2013. She resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of her passing. Wife of Mario A. Abasolo (d. 2011). She is survived by her children: Yadira G. Cardenas, Mario A. Abasolo, and Alicia C. Abasolo; and Grandchildren: Luis Cardenas, Jonathan Cardenas, Alex Cardenas, Mario Abasolo,III, Mariyah Abasolo, Malyssa Abasolo and Matthew Abasolo. Son in law Luis Cardenas and daughter in law Amber Abasolo. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-law, Sister, Sister-in-Law, Aunt and Cousin. May we all remember her firecracker spirit, and her "light up the room" smile. Through her ups and downs, one lesson we can take away from her is her determination; she faced every moment with strength, resilience and bravery; and if all else failed, she reminded us to just dance. There wasn't a "cumbia" she couldn't dominate. She was in a word, remarkable.Though our hearts are heavy, may we all look to the heavens, and know that she is at peace, and probably singing with the Mariachi and rejoicing with our other dearly departed. She will truly be missed. May she rest in peace. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, Covina, California.
