Mayela Escobar

Mayela Escobar, 72, born on June 09, 1950, in San Jose, Costa Rica, passed away March 05, 2023. She resided in San Bernardino, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.

Survived by her husband Orlando Escobar, daughter Stacy Becerra, son Alex A. Escobar, granddaughter Alynna R Montanez, granddaughter Annissa M Conditt, and grandson Evann W Conditt.

Mayela was born in Costa Rica and came to U.S. with her parents & siblings. She lived in West Los Angeles, where she met Orlando. They married on December 9, 1967 and fulfilled 55 years of marriage. They had three children Maricel, Stacy & Alex. Mayela was a wonderful mother as she did everything to make sure her children were not in need of anything. She became a first time grandmother in October 1993, then January 1994, and one last time in September 1997. She will be truly missed by all her surviving loved ones but reunited with her loving daughter Maricel.

Services will be held on March 25, 2023, at 3pm in Diamond Bar. CA.
