Maria Lopez Escobar, 94, born on July 29, 1930, in Los Angeles, California, passed away August 08, 2024. She resided in Palm Desert, CA at the time of her passing. Shortly after her birth, her parents, Apolonio and Juana, moved back to their hometown of Ojocaliente in Aguascalientes Mexico. She lived in Mexico until 1967 when she then moved to the Coachella Valley with her husband and her eight children, Sara, Ruben, Samuel, Lila, Amelia, Cooky, Juanita, and Agustin. She loved to sing, ride the bus to visit her many friends and family, and loved to spend time with her 24 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Her family and friends remember her smile, laugh, and excellent sense of humor. She was a friend and grandmother to all. La abuelita mas bonita.
