Maria "Mary" Beltrano Francia Leocadio, 86, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away on June 8, 2018, in Anaheim, California. She was born on August 19, 1931 in Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines, to Pantaleon and Jovita Beltrano. Mary was married to Florencio V. Francia who predeceased her in December 1993. She was remarried to Reynaldo C. Leocadio who predeceased her in July 2007. She lived in Cypress, California for over 45 years, where she raised her children, enjoyed her rose and orchid gardens, fruit trees, celebrated countless special occasions, sponsored masses and prayers, and hosted multitudes of meals and parties with family and friends. Mary was the matriarch of the family, and was respected and admired by many for her kindness, sense of humor, generosity and devotion to God.
In her lifetime, Mary was a loving mother to her children, charitable in her deeds, devout in her Catholic faith and prayed the rosary daily. She was also an accomplished "dressmaker" in her day wherein she specialized in creating beautiful ball gowns. She also owned and managed a successful business with her husband, Florencio.
Mary had five children; Deborah Francia Lapierre (spouse, Kenneth Lapierre), Jessica Francia (spouse, Darick Yath), Rockefeller Francia (spouse, Carol Francia), Murphy Francia and Kimberly Francia, as well as two children from her marriage with Rey; Diana Skiles and Tony Leocadio. Mary also had 14 grandchildren; Alexander Bayacal and Lauren Yath (children of Jessica); Rockefeller Jr., Fiona, William, Celine, Sofie and Shanon (children of Rockefeller); Anela and Syndey Francia (daughters of Murphy); Julie and Robert Skiles (children of Diana), and Cierra and Austin (children of Tony). Mary also had two great-grandchildren, Ava and Aiden (children of Alex).
Mary was the oldest daughter of 11 children: Benjamin (deceased), Maria (deceased), Lorenza, Salud (deceased), Apolonia, Esther, Eusebia (deceased), Higina, Aurora, Rosa (deceased) and Jose.
Mary's life was lived with dignity and grace. She will be fondly remembered and loved by many forever.
