Maria Nelida Holcomb

Maria Nelida Holcomb, 80, born on June 15, 1932, in Arequipa, Peru, passed away July 2, 2012. She resided in Valley Glen, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
Our beautiful mother; gone to be with her beloved husband Tom. She was deeply devoted to her family, and touched all those that knew her. Throughout her life, she was a living example of love, generosity, patience, and strength. Her wisdom and life experiences are priceless gifts that we will cherish forever.
Her joys in life included music, reading cooking for her family, nature, and she constantly strove to continue learning. She lived life to the fullest and we are blessed to have had her in our lives.
Devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and Aunt to Robert & Suzi, Michael & Jody, Kevin & Lillian, Riley, Eli, and Georgie.
Mom, thank you for all the gifts you gave us. We love you with all our hearts and will miss you always.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Viewing is scheduled at 11:00am-2:00pm. A gravesite service will be held at 3:00pm.
