October 30, 1947 — April 10, 2016
She was diagnosed with end stage pancreatic cancer in late September 2014. When medical treatment was no longer an option for her she chose to be at home where she could be with her loved ones. She gardened, walked the dogs, cooked, visited with family for as long as she could. Her journey is an example of the resilience, fight and perseverance she passed on to her family. On April 10, 2016 she took her last breath holding her eldest daughter's hand. She is now in peace and will eternally be remembered and loved as a luchadora and a humble soul.
