Maria De Jesus "Chuy" Salcedo

Maria de Jesus Salcedo Chavez, 75, was born on July 3, 1943, in El Rincon de Jaripo, Michoacan, Mexico, passed away December 18, 2018. She resided in Indio, California at the time of her passing. Maria was a Teacher Aide in Stockton, California for 16 years and was loved by the children. Maria was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Indio, CA. Maria is survived by her mother Dolores Salcedo, brothers Jose, Esequiel, Mario, Salvador, Rafael, Elias & Gilberto Salcedo sisters Maria Lupian & Rosa Elena Briceño. 35 Nieces & Nephews, 28 Great Nephews.
Maria is preceded in death by her father Juan Salcedo, brothers Juan Salcedo Jr., Jose Guadalupe Salcedo, Nicanor Salcedo.
Maria "Chuy" will be missed by her family & friends. The family was blessed with her beautiful charismatic soul, and we will miss her flavorful plates her specialty the chilaquiles & tortillas a mano.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm (Rosary at 6:00pm) at Forest Lawn Coachella Chapel, Coachella, CA.
Mass to be on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:30am in Our Lady of Soledad, Coachella, CA. Burial to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery, Coachella, CA.
