Maria De Jesus Estrada Martinez

Maria De Jesus Estrada Martinez - 91, passed away peacefully at home with family and friends by her side on Sunday January 27th, 2019.

If anyone knew Maria, you would know she was a very sweet and tough lady. She had too be tough battling cancer after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer for over a year ago.

Maria enjoyed going to see her four son's compete in sporting events and band shows at Artesia High School, Cerritos J.C., USC and Oregon. Maria de Jesus had all four son's and two grandchildren graduate from college. Mom and Pop were very influential in guiding their two youngest son's in the direction of music. They both became excellent musicians.

Maria had a wonderful smile that would light up a room. On her son's birthdays she would always prepare homemade tacos, enchiladas, mole, and lasagna.

Maria De Jesus Estrada Martinez was the beloved wife of Andres Martinez Jr., a dearest mother and grandmother. She is survived by her Four son's Andres III, Raul, Jesus, and Jorge (passed 2018), daughters-in-law Sally and Linda and grandchildren Lauren, Evan and Tera and three great grandchildren.
