Maria Criselda Morales Delgado

Maria Criselda "Maricris" Morales Delgado passed away at the age of 36 on June 26th, 2021 due to complications of childbirth in Downey, California.


Maricris is survived by her loving husband, Jessie; her three sons, Jaxson (7 years old), Ziggy (4 years old), and Mylo (1 month old); her parents, Victor and Criselda; her brothers, Danrey and Bernard; her sisters, Marivic and Jenny; her nephews, Daniel, Nathan, and Rylan; and her nieces Kalani, Brielle, Sofia and Amiree.


Maricris and her twin sister, Marivic, were born in Pasay City, Philippines on January 23rd 1985. She moved to Honolulu with her family and fell in love with Polynesian dancing while living in Hawaii. In 1999, the Morales family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where Maricris graduated from Flour Bluff High School in 2004. She graduated from Newbridge College and became an ultrasound technician. She started her own vascular technician company a year later. Maricris was passionate about her career, enjoyed working with doctors, techs and deeply cared for her patients.


Maricris met the love of her life Jessie in 2002. They managed a long-distance relationship for six years before she joined him in California.
Maricris and Jessie were married on February 21st, 2014, and Jaxson was born later that year. Three years later, Ziggy joined their growing family. Maricris was a devoted wife and mother, treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She loved her family truly and deeply. She treated her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Maricris was a God-fearing woman and attended Cottonwood Church.


Maricris had a vivacious personality, zest for life and always made people laugh. She enjoyed traveling and taking annual trips with her family and friends. She was the life and soul of every party with no party complete without her belting out a note, or two, on karaoke. The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Maricris, and we will always carry her memory in our hearts.


The memorial services for our beloved will be at Forest Lawn 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630.
Visitation is on Tuesday July 27th, located at Hope Chapel from 1pm to 4pm. The service will be held on Wednesday, July 28th 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Patriot's Chapel. Live stream of the service will start at 11am and concludes at 1pm: McDelgadoMemorial.com , password is Delgado (case sensitive).
Interment and reception to follow after services. Due to the Delta variant and Maricris and Jessie's newborn in attendance at the service, utilization of the live stream, and guests wearing masks are highly encouraged.
