Margareta " Margie " Penalber, 91, of Coachella, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 23, 2024. She was born May 16, 1933, in Indio to Nicholas and Cayetana Dominguez. Margie is survived by her 4 children Kathy Penalber, Michael Penalber, Debra Canero and Cindy Sanchez, her brother, Henry Dominguez, (22) Grandchildren, (57) Great Grandchildren and (7) Great Great Grandchildren.
Grandma Margie was a true example of wisdom ,inspiration, strength and endless love.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 16, 2024 at 4pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Coachella. Funeral Mass Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 10:30am-11:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Indio followed by burial at Coachella Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Coachella, CA.
She is preceded in death by her husband Tony Penalber, her daughter Marina Penalber, her sisters Petra Dominguez, Vero Franco , and Ofelia Madril.
