Margaret Jane Bunyard

Margaret Jane Sellers Bunyard, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. Margaret was born June 30, 1934 in Jasper, Missouri to Walter and Beulah Sellers. She met her "sweet husband" Clarence (Paul) Bunyard and married on November 1, 1952. After Paul's retirement from the Army they settled in Cypress, CA with their three children. Margaret was a faithful member of Green Hills Baptist Church, where she was the organist for many years. She enjoyed checking on friends and family and looked forward to getting together with them. She liked traveling, going to Southern Gospel Quartet Concerts and watching the Dodgers. She was a member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees) holding several leadership positions throughout the years. She and Clarence were also members of a camping club and she enjoyed the monthly outings and the friendships she made.

Margaret is survived by her three children and their spouses; Steve and Lorri Bunyard, Pam and Martin Husereau, Rick and Melissa Bunyard, and her two grandchildren; Donielle and James Bunyard. She is also survived by two siblings: Raymond Sellers and Norma Jean Rodriguez and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Margaret will be on Monday, August 16 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, CA from 1-4 pm. Her celebration of life service will be on Tuesday, August 17 at 10:30 am at Wilshire Ave. Community Church in Fullerton. She will be interred next to her husband Clarence at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
