Marcos "Fig" Figueroa

Marcos "Fig" Figueroa passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at age 47. He was a devoted father, husband and beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. A member of IATSE Local 44, Marc worked as a talented greensman in the motion picture industry for 22 years. A lifelong resident of California, he loved soccer, surfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a passionate AC Milan and Las Vegas Raiders fan. Marcos was a skilled carpenter, extremely artistic and a man of many talents. He leaves behind his wife Tanja and children, Marko and Maia. He is also survived by his parents, Epifanio and Margarita Figueroa; his siblings, Juan (Jacqueline) Figueroa, Maria Figueroa, Matilde Figueroa Suarez, Ana Figueroa, Rebecca Figueroa, and Epifanio Figueroa, Jr. (Tom Hooker); along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in the USA and Mexico; as well as his in-laws, Milan and Mira Mataija; Tina and Wyndham Bennett.

A memorial service will be held at Baldwin Park Seventh Day Adventist Church (13965 Ramona Pkwy., Baldwin Park) on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:30am. A burial will follow at Forest Lawn Covina Hills at 2:30pm.
