Marcia Goodman

Marcia Goodman, 76, born on August 12, 1947, in Los Angeles, CA, United States, and passed away June 18, 2024. She resided in Long Beach, CA at the time of her passing. Marcia had a long career in the court system, and began as a Court Clerk eventually working her way up to a supervisory role overseeing Court Reporters and Interpreter Services for the Superior Court, Orange County. She truly loved her work. After retirement she served as Foreperson for the Grand Jury, Los Angeles County. She then became one of two public members to serve on the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation. She volunteered for several years for Meals on Wheels, Long Beach. She loved the arts and had an eclectic taste in music. Marcia is survived by two brothers, her sister, her wife of 33 years, her furry children, and many friends and in-laws whose lives she touched in her special and unique way with her appreciation and creation of humor, her memorable laugh, her wit, her beautiful voice, spoken and in song, and her kind and generous heart. Marcia was truly Legendary. She supported Doctors Without Borders, Guide Dogs of America, International Bird Rescue (IBRRC) and Meals of Wheels. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.
