Manuel Martinez Jr. 77, born May 24, 1943 in El Paso, Texas, California to December 16, 2020. He resided in Riverside, CA at the time of his passing. Manuel was a beloved son to the parents of Manuel Martinez and Maria Luisa Luera who proudly followed the footsteps of his father by serving in the U.S. Army.
Manuel Martinez Jr. and Martha Roacho Martinez were joined together in marriage on April 30, 1966 at The Little Chapel of Flowers in West Covina, CA. Manuel and Martha worship the name of the Lord by being immensely involved in the church community. They joined and continued their love in Jesus Christ at Glendora Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist in Glendora, CA. After a relocation of residence in 1985, they continued their walk in faith by attending and serving at Arlington Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Riverside, CA
Manuel and Martha were both admitted to Riverside Kaiser Hospital, November 21, 2020 when they found them-selves fighting for the essence of life here on earth. Consequently, after the strong battle against Coronavirus, the inseparable bond of fifty-four years of marriage will now be gently laid to rest side by side on January 20, 2021 at 12pm.
Manuel and Martha have succeeded a life of marriage and forever built a solid foundation. The beloved Husband and Wife to cherish their memory, Manuel A. Martinez their dearest son, Julia R. Martinez daughter-in-law, and Sylvia L. Corona their precious daughter. Their treasured ten grandchildren, Manuel A. Martinez Jr., Paul A. Contreras, Stephanie R. Corona, Joseph C. Martinez, Gabriela M. Corona, Nathan T. Martinez, Danielle A. Corona, Alexandria J. Contreras, Destiny A. Martinez, and Valerie M. Martinez, cherished five great grandchildren Xavior Corona Sanchez, Audrina Contreras, Ernesto Contreras, Elias Odin Kokoyachuck, Emilee M. Martinez, and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements and Graveside service will be under the direction of- Forest Lawn, 21300 Via Verde Street Covina Hills, CA 91724.
Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held directly after Graveside service at- New Beginnings Community Church - Jurupa Valley, 9010 Limonite Avenue Riverside, CA 92509.
