Manuel B. Dulnuan, 83, born on January 4, 1939, second son to Martin and Rosita Dulnuan in Banaue, Philippines. He peacefully breathed his last breath the evening of March 1, 2022. He succumbed to progressive Alzheimer's at home in Los Angeles, CA, comforted by his wife, ever by his side.
He earned his bachelors degree in the Philippines and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1969, where he worked as a structural engineer for James M. He was an avid hunter of deer, elk, wild boar, and quail. He loved the outdoors and passed this love onto his children. He took his family out on weekend camping trips all over California and spent summer vacations driving them to such distances as the Florida Keys, the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, and watched the sun set in Alaska at 3 o'clock in the morning. He kept in close touch with relatives and friends from his hometown in the Philippines, remaining active in the church, the BIBAK Foundation in Los Angeles, the Ifugao Association of Southern California, and the Cordillera Organization of the Inland Empire (COIE).
Manny was preceded in death by his children, Arthur and Karen. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Norma; his brothers, Gabriel, Hospicio, his sisters: Gloria and Jesusa; his children: Gilbert, Denis, Joy; and his grandchildren: Jake, Kaitlyn, Sean, and Geeno.
