Maliah Solia-Maka

September 7, 1995 — September 18, 2025

Maliah Solia-Maka, 30, born on September 07, 1995, in La Palma, CA, United States, passed away September 18, 2025. She resided in Cypress, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.

Maliah was outgoing, a true jokester at heart, yet deeply loving and as strong as they come. She had that magnetic energy; you couldn’t help but look her way and, before long, find yourself laughing with her…..or at her.

Her achievements were as clear as her laughter. None shone brighter than her beautiful marriage to Lueleni (Leni) the love of her life. Together, they welcomed Keilini, Sione, Athena, and Marley—Maliah’s proudest accomplishments. Each arrival filled her heart to overflowing, and she poured that same love into her children, raising them with warmth, humor, and a lesson in strength every single day.

In her own words, “Before having my Children, Playing Softball was the highlight of my life"

Maliah’s true love and passion, second only to her family, was SOFTBALL. She was ever the competitor—eager to pitch, excited to hit, maybe a little less enthusiastic about running the bases. Winning or losing, it was the joy she brought to the game that stood out. During season play her teams were mediocre at best, but she lived for those All-Star teams and getting the call to play with BP Strikeforce. She made the ballfield feel less like a competition and more like a celebration, and that was the gift she brought to every team, every gathering, and every family outing.

Maliah is survived by her Husband Leni, Daughters Keilini, Athena, Marley, and Son Sione, Mother Denise, Father Pete, and Brother Keoni.

Preceded in death by Great-Grandmother Lucinda, Grandfather Henry, Grandmother Gloria, and Cousin Destiney.

“What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose; all that we love deeply are in our hearts and becomes a part of us.”

Rest well, Maliah. You live on in every heart you touched.
