Malaquias (Mel) Ramos

Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Malaquias (Mel) Ramos, born May 24, 1959, went on to his new life in Christ Jesus on January 31, 2013. He joins in heaven his father and mother, Filigonio and Julia Ramos; his sister, Gracie Rodea; and his brother, Steven Olivares. He looks down from heaven upon his wife, Eva Ramos; his children, Marisol Gerardo, Antonia Peña, Malaquias Ramos III, Leopoldo Ramos, Jose (Jesse) Lazcano, Vanessa Lazcano, and Brandon Ramos. He has 11 beautiful grandchildren that will continue to make him smile down on them with joy shining in his beautiful grey eyes. We love him with all our hearts and we know he did his best to be a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to us. Please join us in celebrating his new life on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10 am at the Forest Lawn Ramon Chapel, Cathedral City, Calif., with interment following at Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City. A reception will be held following interment at 11:30 am at Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
