Mairza Evangelista Padilla

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mairza Evangelista Padilla, 62, of Long Beach, CA. Following a lengthy battle with Covid-19, Mairza was laid to rest on October 6, 2020.

Mairza will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 37 years, Amado; children, Amadelle, Aivanna, Abbigail; son-in-law, Nick; grandchild, Jonathan; and numerous other family members and friends.

Mairza was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved to read, watch Filipino "teleserye" shows, and most of all, she loved caring for others. She tirelessly worked as a nurse for 30+ years and loved helping others. Mairza was the sweetest, most caring, and hardworking person her family knew. She always put others before herself and lived her life taking care of others. She touched many lives with her generosity, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A visitation service is scheduled for 12 PM to 4 PM on November 3, 2020 and November 4, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cypress. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 AM on November 5, 2020 at the Patriots Chapel in Forest Lawn Cypress.
