Maria Milagros "Mila" Corazon Manajan, 64, of Culver City, California, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2013.

Mila was born in Iloilo City, Philippines on May 6, 1949. She attended Colegio del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus in Iloilo City from Kindergarten to High School. In 1965, she enrolled at the College of the Holy Spirit and transferred to Philippine Women's University, where she graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She left the Philippines in 1986 and immigrated to Los Angeles, California with her three sons Bernard, Benedict, and Ronald (RJ).

Mila found her niche in the research industry having been Regulatory Affairs Administrator of The Osteoporosis Medical Center since 1997.

She loved to travel, enjoyed being with her boys, daughter-in-law, granddaughters, family, cousins, former classmates and close friends. She enjoyed cooking, ballroom dancing, and sharing these moments with friends and family.

Mila is survived by her three children, Bernard, Benedict, RJ and his wife Tracy (Mendoza); and her granddaughters, Makayla and Mialynn; sisters Lulu Alino (Mike), Chito Hormillosa (Nick), Beng Yap(Gijo); niece Katrina Purtell and family; nephews Marco Alino and family, Patrick & Ryan Hormillosa, Antonio & John Yap; stepmother Adaline Manajan, stepsisters and a stepbrother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio F. Manajan and Ferolina "Inday" De la Cruz Manajan; as well as her granddaughter, Maliyah.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at the Main Mortuary Building in Forest Lawn Glendale. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday November 14, 2013 at the Little Church of the Flowers in Forest Lawn Glendale. Burial will follow immediately after the Mass at Forest Lawn Memorial.
