Lynn Margaret O'Leary-Archer

Lynn Margaret O'Leary-Archer, 68, born on July 13, 1948, in Butte, Montana, passed away February 7, 2017. She resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.Lynn was a seasoned administrator of institutions of higher education from 1980 until her retirement in February 2015, including the University of Southern California (1980-88), the J. Paul Getty Trust (1988-98), the University of Southern Califofornia again, (200-2006), and the Claremont School of Theology (2007-2015).

Lynn received her Ph.D. (University of Southern California) in history in 1988; her M.A. (University of Southern California) in American Studies in 1988, and B.A. (Gonzaga University) in English and History in 1970. She married Roger O'Leary-Archer in December 1973. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in Manhattan this past December.annon

In addition to her husband, Lynn's surviving family members include her brother, Alan O'Leary, his wife, Donna Mabry, of Rehoboth Beach,DE; his daughter, Shannon O'Learyof Los Angeles, CA; and his son and his wife, Kevin Moore-O'Leary and Kara Moore-O'Leary, their children Izzy and Jules, of Davis, CA. Additional family ;members include Lynn's cousin, Michael O'Leary and his wife Susan of Seattle, WA,, and their children Chris Toma, :Patrick O'Leary, Bridgett Davis, and Kelly O'Leary. She also leaves behind,many, many wonderful and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
