In Loving Memory of Lynda Wallace
March 30, 1948 – August 29, 2025
Lynda Lee Wallace (née Frame), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on August 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in El Monte, California, on March 30, 1948, Lynda was the eldest daughter of Bob and Trudy Frame. She grew up in a warm and spirited household alongside her sisters Kimberly, Tracy, and Robyn. Lynda attended Rosemead High School, where she was a cheerleader, and later pursued her nursing degree at Pasadena City College. It was there she met the love of her life, James Wallace. They were married for 55 wonderful years.
Lynda dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She worked as an LVN at Arcadia Methodist Hospital for a decade, later serving as a specialist nurse in a private arthritis practice, and ultimately as a school nurse at Sierra Vista Elementary, where she touched countless young lives until her retirement.
A long-time resident of Upland, California, Lynda was deeply involved in her community. She served as PTA President and was honored with the PTA Honorary Service Award for her outstanding dedication. She was also an active member of the New Uplanders Club, National Charity League, Book Club, and Bunco group. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Lynda is survived by her devoted husband, James Wallace; her daughters and sons-in-law: Keri and Mark Rudometkin, Jaymi and Greg Pellatt, Emily and Jon Ziebarth; her five cherished grandchildren; and her sisters Kimberly Aguilar and Tracy Kern. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Trudy Frame, and her sister Robyn.
Lynda will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills, a place close to her heart. Service will be held on Monday, September 15th at noon. Her legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
-We are especially grateful to her longtime and steadfast hospice team and the special caregivers at Legacy House in Upland.
