Lylia Pajes Rogers-Napoles

Lylia Pajes Rogers-Napoles, 93, born on December 07, 1930, in Camarines Norte, Philippines. She passed away May 26, 2024 in Los Angeles, CA surrounded by her family. 

Lily was born to Gregorio Alcantara Arguzon & Maria Salome Pajes on December 07, 1930 in Camarines Norte, Phillippines. She went to school in Bicol, Liliw Laguna & finishing at Philippine Union College. In 1955 she completed her nursing degree at PUC & began working as an OR nurse. In 1959 she moved to the US continuing her nursing career at Glendale Sanitarium & Hospital. This is where she met her 1st husband William ‘Bill’ Rogers whom she was married to for 43yrs until his passing. She remained at Glendale Adventist for 55yrs working as an OR nurse until her retirement in 2014. In 2009 she married Amador Napoles and they were together for 13yrs until his passing in 2022. 

Lily was instrumental in supporting her siblings throughout their schooling and aided in bringing them all to America. They would say, "Lily was a mother to all of us!" She was a committed Seventh-Day-Adventist & a supporter of Vallejo SDA church.

Lily is preceded in death by siblings Loida Pajes Haboc (2004) & Mishael Pajes Arguzon (2022).

Lily is survived by siblings Emelania Arguzon Hernandez, Divinia Pajes Wilkinson, Lora Pajes Sherman, Gregorio Pajes Arguzon, Jr., & Eva Arguzon Guadiz. 

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.
