Lydia Canding Espiritu, 84, born on March 31, 1932, in Manila, Philippines, passed away February 20, 2017. She was at Kindred Hospital in Westminster, California at the time of her passing. She is survived by her daughter Maria Fides, son Virgilio Espiritu and wife Angie, her sister Purisima, her aunt Felisa, grandchildren Meagan, Lauren, Anna, Erika, Edgar, Jr., Maria, Ellery, Chrissy;and great grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander, Wyatt, Sophia, Brandon, Jai, Raj, Janelle, Janina, and Jarelle. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. Visitation and Vigil is on February 25 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Hope Chapel. She will be cremated and her ashes will be brought back to the Philippines at a later time.
