Lydia D. Asuncion

Lydia Asuncion, 80, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022 surrounded by the warmth of loved ones. The impact she leaves behind is similar to her often silent nature—quiet and genteel but a force and effective. She moved and touched many with her perceptive consideration and selfless acts of love. She showed kindness and generosity to all and everyone. She needed only to meet you once to plan gestures of nurturing through food or gift. She was the best cook and the kindest soul.

She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Primitivo Asuncion, Jr., and her legacy continues through her daughters and their families, Cecilia, Pascal, and Isabelle Lorthioir; Adoracion, Jack, and Mateo Asuncion-Reed; and Hossannah Asuncion, Sarah Lidgus, and Zazie Asuncion-Lidgus. We pray for her eternal rest and peace with the Lord.
