July 7, 1917 — October 19, 2016

On the morning of October 19, 2016, our Lord called Luz G Perez home. Luz Perez was surrounded by her loved ones at her Coachella residence. Mrs. Perez was born on July 7, 1917, in Mezquital Del Oro, Zacatecas, Mexico and came to the United States in 1954 where she settled in her home in the city of Coachella. She was well-known in her community as DoÃ±a Luz, the owner of Chihuahua Market. She is survived by her step-daughter Rosario Romero, daughters Teresa Perez Weeks, Amparo Perez Pavia and Carmen Perez Pavia along with her 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is now reunited with her husband Sebastian Perez. SheÂ may be gone now but her memory lives on through all of us.
