Lusaber Eliazian

March 21, 1930 — January 13, 2013

Lusaber Eliazian, 82, born on March 21, 1930, in Tabriz, Iran passed away January 13, 2013. She resided in Granada Hills, California at the time of her passing. Lusaber Eliazian was born to parents Levon and Mania Malek Adamian. She was raised in a family of seven children, one sister and five brothers. At the age of 18, during one of her visits to her sister's house in Tehran, she met her soon to be husband, Arshavir Eliazian. Pledging their love, Lucy and Archie were married in Tehran on January 28, 1950. They were blessed with three children, a son and two daughters.

In 1980, Lucy and Archie brought their family to America. Lucy was a devoted housewife and mother. She committed her entire life to taking care of her family. Not only did she raise her own children, she also helped raise her grandchildren. But it didn't stop there. Lucy opened her home to many friends and family members, giving them a place to live and a hot meal. She wouldn't say no to anyone. She had to make sure everyone else was okay first, before even taking care of herself.

Lucy was well known for her loving nature, sense of humor and openness with people. Lucy liked to know everything about everyone. And to be honest, everyone loved talking to her. They felt comfortable telling her stories, things they wouldn't tell anyone else. Somehow you felt as though you could trust her, even if you barely knew her.

Lucy effortlessly was the life of every gathering, telling jokes and making everyone laugh. At the end of the day, even if you didn't remember much else, you always remembered Lucy.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband, Archie, her three loving children, Diana, Robert and Monique, her three loving grandchildren, Alina, Tony and Natalie, and her loving great grandson Hayden.

Although her time here with us has ended, her love for life and for family will continue in her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
