Luis Ricardo Bermudez nació en Usulután, El Salvador el 18 de febrero de 1949. En 1976, Luis o mejor conocido como Richar imigró a los estados unidos para darle una mejor vida a su familia. El llego preparado para una nueva vida, su esposa siempre en su mente mientras que él trabajaba para crear un mejor futuro. Luego llega su esposa también a los estados unidos. Los dos trabajaron para crear ese futuro que los dos anhelaban hacer una realidad. Richar trabajó arduamente en una fábrica de ropa para apoyar a su familia. Y aunque este trabajo es difícil, Richar continuo a trabajar, continuo a luchar, continuo a dar lo mejor de el para su familia. Siempre puso su familia primero. Siempre sacrifico para su esposa e hijos, que lentamente se convirtieron en adultos también. Siempre dijo que su mejor logro en vida fue tener a una gran esposa y tres hijos que también lucharon para salir adelante. Ellos eran sus cuatro regalos de Dios que el siempre quiso mucho. Y por ellos lucho en todos los aspectos de su vida. El valor, la lucha, la determinación, y la fe de Richar impulsaron a sus hijos a crear sueños y hacerlos en una realidad. Él siempre se sintió orgulloso de los logros de sus tres hijos. Adicionalmente, sus hijos siempre se sintieron orgullosos de su padre. Sin él, los muchos logros de sus hijos no se hubieran convertido en realidad.

En 2014, Richar fue diagnosticado con lymphoma-un cáncer de la sangre. Y como siempre siguió luchando; porque él nunca se daba por vencido. En febrero 12 de 2015, Dios lo llamo a su reino. Sin duda no habrá otro como Richar, mi papá. Personas como el son únicas. Gracias a Dios que lo puso a Richar en nuestro camino.

Su esposa e hijos siempre le dimos gracias a Dios por darle no solo un gran esposo a mi mamá pero un maravilloso padre para nosotros sus hijos...él es irreemplazable. Gracias papi por todo. Aunque no este con nosotros nunca será olvidado ya que personas como usted dejan grandes huellas en todas la gente que conoció. Siga guiándolos a nosotros como siempre. Sabemos que al mirar al cielo allí estará listo para darnos un consejo, abrazo como siempre lo hizo aquí en la tierra. Seguiremos luchando por lograr todos nuestros sueños porque como usted, también lucharemos hasta el final.

Luis Ricardo Bermudez was born in Usulután, El Salvador on February 18, 1949. In 1976, Luis or better known as Richar immigrated to the United States to give his family a better life. He came prepared for a new life, his wife always in his mind while he worked to create a better future. Later his wife also joined him in United States. The two worked together to create that better future that both longed to make a reality. Richar worked hard in a garment factory to provide for his family. And although this work is difficult, Richar continued to work, continued to fight, and continued to give his best for his family. He always put his family first. He always said that his best achievement in life was having a great wife and three children, who also fought to get ahead. They were his four gifts that God bestowed on him, which he always loved. Richard pushed his children to create dreams and make them a reality. He always felt proud of the achievements of his three children. However, his children always felt proud of their father. Without him, these accomplishments would had never come true.

In 2014, Richar was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma – a type of cancer of the blood. And as always he continued to fight; because he never gave up on anything. On February 12, 2015, God called him to join His kingdom. No doubt there will be no other like Richar, my dad. People like him are rare and unique. Thank God that He gave us a father like my dad.

His wife and children always gave thanks to God for giving them not only a great husband to our mom, but a wonderful father to us, his children... he is irreplaceable. Thank you dad for everything you gave us. A person like you will never be forgotten because people like you leave large footprints within all the people who you meet. Continue to guide us as always. We know that when we look towards the heavens, there you will be ready to give us advice and embrace us like you did so many times here on Earth. We will continue to strive to achieve our dreams because like you, we will fight until the end.
