Our beloved father, Luis G. Acuña, 77, born on July 03, 1947 in Alajuela, Costa Rica, passed away December 07, 2024 surrounded by his family. Mr. Acuña served as a pillar to his community for over 40 years. He coached and mentored countless students and young adults throughout his life, often giving back to the community which he loved as much as he loved his own family. Mr. Acuña, as he was known to all, devoted his years to being a father and exemplifying what a hardworking family man was. He had recently spent Tuesdays and Thursdays handing out granola bars to the kids of Santa Monica Blvd. Community Charter School, where he previously worked for 41 years. We will miss Mr. Acuña as we now adjust to a life without his stories, laughter, singing, and him trying to care for so many others. From the entire Acuña/Adame family, we express our deepest gratitude. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
