Loys Wanetta Bonner, 90, born on September 14, 1927, in Newton, Iowa, passed away May 17, 2018. She resided in Glendale, California at the time of her passing.

Loys moved to Glendale as a young girl, where she attended Hoover High School. She graduated from UCLA in 1949 with a B.S. in apparel design and subsequently earned an M.A. in education from the University of Redlands. Loys worked for the Burbank Unified School District for 25 years as a teacher, first at McKinley and later at Roosevelt elementary school.

For many years, Loys was active in several Glendale organizations, including the Assistance League, PEO, Retired Teachers and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Loys was married to Whitnal (Frank) Bonner for 54 years, until his passing in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Bonner, and son, Michael Bonner.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
