Lourdes Villarta Seno

Lourdes Villarta Seno was a caring mother, sister, daughter, friend and devoted nurse. She joined her late husband in heaven suddenly on November 15, 2023 at the age of 73 in her home in Los Angeles, CA.

She was born on August 31, 1950, in Cebu City, Philippines to Nicolas Villarta and Angelita Amargo Villarta. She was the 4th of 10 children and raised in Alimodian, Iloilo. After discovering her calling to help others, she pursued a nursing career and gained her education at Southern Islands Hospital. She later moved to the United States and eventually married her husband, Henry Chiang Seno. They moved and settled in Los Angeles, CA where they raised their 3 children. She began a long career as a nurse until she retired at the age of 64. Lourdes is survived by her 3 children, Henrison, Lhourd Matthew, and Victoria, her mother, Angelita Villarta, and her 8 siblings, Angelita, Wilfredo, Herbert, Grace, Noel, Joseph, Susan, and Cheryl.  

Lourdes cherished the little things in life. She was very hardworking, supporting her family early on, and always willing to help those in need. She often spoke about living within your means not because she could not afford certain luxuries, but because she valued time and stability. To her, the best gifts were the time spent with loved ones and ensuring her family and loved ones were properly taken care of. She was a wonderful mix of tough and loving, and she will be greatly missed.

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend her viewing on Dec 13-14, 2023 from 10-7pm at Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA and her Funeral Mass at St. Bernard Church, Los Angeles on Dec. 16, 2023 at 9:30am.
