Lourdes De Guzman Quintana

Lourdes de Guzman Quintana, 78, born on March 9, 1938 in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines, passed away May 21, 2016. She resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

She is survived by her husband, Sebastian Quintana for 52 years, with her two sons, Arturo and Carlos, & daughter Bernadette. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Laura-Ashley, Danielle, Victoria, Michael, Amanda, Christopher, Matthew, Nathan, and Elizabeth. Lourdes had seven siblings; Nieva, Rafaelita, Arturo, Emmanuel, Oscar, Edgardo and Arlen.

Lourdes was a special education teacher for the deaf and blind, completing her Master's Degree at UCLA. She later worked for the banking industry in Los Angeles where she retired. She had a passion for serving God and dedicating her personal time to the church. She was always there to offer prayer and dedication of church services for anyone needing help in their affliction.

Lourdes loved having her grandchildren around her; she would often humor them with happy moments and share with them her life experiences. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and spending time with her friends at their Holy Rosary group activities.

She will be missed dearly by all the hearts she has touched and the lives she has helped along the way. Lourdes, rest in peace in Jesus name, Amen.
