Lourdes Cura Matthews, 67, born on December 22,1950, in Angeles City, Pampanga Province, Philippines, passed away October 16, 2018. She resided in Norwalk, California at the time of her passing. She retired as an Assistant Activities Director at Hillcrest Hospital in Long Beach, California. Lourdes was the oldest of 2 daughters, wife of Jon Matthews to whom she was married 29 plus years. Lourdes was Mother of 4 Sons and 1 Daughter, Grandmother to 18 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 5 great grandchildren. She worked as a volunteer with Donate Life after receiving a kidney transplant in 2010 and worked with the Lady Guilds at Teen Challenge. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
